2009 Drill Design Project
Featuring Quincy Notre Dame High School
For visitors new to the project, the Banddirector.com Drill Design Project creates an original marching show for one director and their program. The panel of experts below will work together with the band director and blog the creative process of the show over the next few months. Banddirector.com will webcast the completed show live from the school or festival.
The 2009 Drill Design Project will be an especially exciting year. This year the project welcomes Paul Popiel from Indiana University. Paul will add a new element to the project as a mentor to the band director and his marching program. The drill will be created by Scott Kurtzweil (Kurtzweil Designs), music will be provided by Gary P Gilroy Publications, and instruction will be provided by Valiant Marching Band Concepts.
