Hiya folks,
Just looking for a little help or some ideas. I have been asked to sell some orchestral instruments for a friend and I'm not sure where to start. I am a musician but not experienced with orchestral instruments. I have 3 timpani, a bunch of timpani heads and some mallets... certainly not too easy to post!

If I were you, I wouldn't go to craigslist or the local newspaper to post an ad, they will only take your money and you probably will not get a response. I recently developed a website designed to sell your old instruments, music, and equipment online. I have dubbed it bandtobuy.com http://www.bandtobuy.com/start-here/
While my website is a classifieds site, it is geared specifically towards music, and you have a much better chance of being found on there, considering only musicians have a need to look at the website. I encourage you to post your timpani ad for free on bandtobuy.com. I would also appreciate any feedback you have on the website.
