I'm looking for a recording of Festive Toccata by Elliot A. Del Borgo. I'm having my high school band play this piece, but I can't seem to find a recording anywhere! Please help me, if you can!

I agree with you, Alicia. I think a conductor can and should listen to other ensembles perform pieces, when possible. It is the same reason I attend so many band concerts, even though I'm not the one conducting.
Even though we all can analyze and interpret, part of the fun of being the conductor is the fact that it is a continual learning process. The day I fail to learn by listening to a piece, is the day I no longer breathe.
I did come up with a middle school band recording, but I'm sure you'd probably prefer a more experienced group. (Yikes, not all the recordings I listen to are perfect bands!)
Good Luck!
