The Lone Star Symphonic Band, in Houston, TX, is currently taking applications for conductor. Requirements are a Masters in Music or a Bachelors in Music with equivalent experience. The candidate must be both audience and musician oriented, and be willing to hold 6-9 concerts a year. The band is comprised of volunteer musicians who meet once a week and are capable of playing difficult grade six music. A small stipend will be offered for this position.
