I am a composer of band music and I published it using the Finale method. There are many other composers who have used Finale or Sibelius to publish their music and it is very difficult to let conductors know about our music, without appearing to be spamming, which we are not. For this reason, I started a Yahoo group for people like me, so that directors can go to our site and find composers, they otherwise would not know about. The links section of this site lists many composers and their music. Thank you.

Yeah, it's hard man... I mean, your best shot is always producing the music yourself with some sampled orchestra like EWSO and moving it through taxi.com or something like that... or win some prize submitting it to a contest.
