Pro-Mark Corporation, the world’s largest manufacturer dedicated exclusively to the design, production, and distribution of drumsticks, mallets, and percussion accessories has introduced a completely new line of keyboard mallets for the high school and college market.
Designed by multi-award winning Franklin Central High School band director Dan Fyffe, this new line consists of 17 wrapped and unwrapped mallets for bells, xylophone, vibraphone and marimba.
In a joint statement, Fyffe and Mark Reynolds, Pro-Mark’s Product Manager, emphasized the depth and breadth of sound that these new mallets produce.
Commenting further, Reynolds noted, “We spent months working with Dan and his band before settling on these designs. These mallets are incredibly versatile, and will produce the wide range of sounds that are generally required in both high school and college music programs.”
Reynolds continued, “We also chose a very contemporary range of colors to differentiate the sound each mallet produces. In short, this line contains a mallet to produce virtually whatever sound the music calls for.”
