W. Nirschl Brass Announces Dual Use Trombone

July 12, 2007 ELKHART, INDIANA- Continuing its collaboration with renowned brass instrument maker Walter Nirschl of Geretsried, Germany, Gemstone Musical Instruments announced its new H-700 F-attachment dual use trombone. The first of its kind, the H-700 utilizes two detachable venturi tubes that effectively change the slide bore, eliminating the need for different sizes of trombones for different types of music.

“We’re very excited to be the first to offer this kind of trombone,” said Richard Barth, Director of the W. Nirschl Brass Division at Gemstone Musical. “It’s perfect for the working musician who goes from symphony hall to recording studio on the subway or for a student who wants a versatile professional trombone that performs in both concert and stage bands. The unique detachable venturi tubes make it more versatile than anything on the market.”

W. Nirschl offers a full line of brass instruments including trumpets, trombones, and euphoniums designed to provide quality instruments that meet school budgetary needs.
