International Azalea Festival
The rich tradition of the Norfolk International Azalea Festival began in 1953, one year after the establishment of NATO's Allied Command Atlantic in Norfolk. Shenandoah Apple Blossom Parade
A series of more than thirty events includes: dances, parades, band competitions, the Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros Circus, a 10K run, the Coronation of Queen Shenandoah, Firefighters' events, and celebrities. The Festival is an event the whole family can enjoy.

National Cherry Blossom Parade
The parade is a spectacular event for children of all ages. Talented marching bands compete for 16 coveted spots in the parade and provide colorful and musical entertainment. Dance and drumming performance teams from Japan and the United States highlight the art of taiko drumming. More »
Capital One Citrus Bowl/Parade
The Orlando Citrus Parade continues to build a tradition of stunning citrus floats, marching bands and the like as the parade makes its way through the streets of downtown Orlando. Over 100,000 pieces of fruit and 500 volunteers were needed to construct the floats for last year's parade, which also included 13 marching bands from across the country, as well as the Auburn and Wisconsin marching bands.

Holland Tulip Parade
Tulip Time has done much to encourage fine bands in the local area. There are 14 bands in the local school systems. The Holland High School band, which marches in wooden shoes, has performed at a Presidential Inauguration, the Orange Bowl, and the Tournament of Roses Parade.
Over 40 bands perform by invitation only in Tulip Time's final Muziekparade each year. More »

Indianapolis 500 Parade
Celebrating 50 years of tradition, the IPL 500 Festival Parade returns to the streets of downtown Indianapolis. The 2007 event will include nationally-known celebrities, costumed characters, marching bands, patriotic units, specialty units, spectacular floats and giant helium balloons, filling the streets to celebrate the world's largest single-day sporting event, the Indianapolis 500. Kentucky Derby (Pegasus) Parade
Thirteen floats and 10 inflatable characters joined 13 equestrian units and 13 marching bands from across the country. Rowan County High School took top honors in the BellSouth Real Yellow Pages Battle of the Bands competition. Robinson High School finished second in the voting, followed by Jasper (Ind.) High School.
